1. Where are you from?
San Diego, California
2. What inspired your latest collection with QTee?
I visit Hawaii a lot and love the 'Aloha' vibe!
3. What’s your favorite part about QTee?
I love that you can customize literally everything and that there are SO many awesome designs to choose from :)
4. Run us through a typical day with Izzy, what’s it like?
When I'm not working as a surf instructor, I will usually surf in the morning, grab a smoothie or juice, go shopping or to local farmers markets, and end the day by watching the sunset.
5. Where is your favorite place to travel to?
My favorite place (so far) is Hawaii. I love swimming with the turtles, sharks, fish, and other animals. I also love to explore the island and go on hikes to waterfalls. I plan to travel all over the world after I graduate so I'm sure I will have multiple favorite destinations in the next year or two.
6. How did you get started surfing and where did you learn?
I learned when I was ten years old at La Jolla Shores Beach-which is where I am teaching surf lessons now! I love sharing my passion of surfing with all the kids during camp, knowing that I used to be just like them.
7. You’re a surfer AND a model. Tell us a little about your modeling career...
My mom was a model when she was my age so I really wanted to get into it! A little over 2 years ago I had my first photo shoot and have loved doing it every since! The best feeling is seeing your self in a magazine, website, or commercial
8. What’s your hands down favorite food?
Dim Sum! Or Pho...or Thai...I have many favorites! Ha!
9. Tell us a little about your hobbies? What do you like to do for fun?
I have been playing tennis since I was four! I also love to kayak, SUP, hike, and snorkel. I also considering eating as a hobby :P
10. What’s next on your agenda?
I have one more year of school and I will be graduating with a degree in Environmental Business.
11. If you could pick a celebrity crush, who would it be?
Dave Franco ;)
12. Lastly, what are some words you can offer to girls who are looking at getting into surfing? What advice would you give them?
Start by taking a surf camp or private lesson and learning the basics of surfing. Once you get the hang of it you can practice on your own! Those that already do it, keep on going! I know it may seem difficult at times but once you get to where you wanted to be, you will look back and be proud of all the hard work you put into it!
Be sure to check out Izzy's "Aloha Collection", inspired by the spirit of Hawaii!

We just had some cool new graphics hit the site! I feel like I say this every time we release new graphics, but THESE ARE MY FAVORITE! (until the next release probably) Anyway, I wanted to show you how I customized some of our newest editions to the site. Hopefully it’ll inspire you to customize them!
Make sure you always get your “Daily Dose of Sunshine”. (For real though, Vitamin D is important) I customized this on a trucker hat and on a loose crop top. I love how this graphic looks on the bright pink loose crop, it really is the perfect color for the summer (and it matches one of my favorite bikinis, so that’s always an added plus) I figured the trucker hat is also perfect because when I am out in the sun, it’ll protect my face from the sun!
My motto in life is “When in doubt, vacation!” so I’m pretty sure our designers made this shirt specifically for me. I customized this graphic on a sports bra as well as a tote bag. I think the sports bra is so cute and is perfect for a lazy day (like when you really want to be on vacation). They are so comfy and I absolutely love mine! I also love this tote because well, it’s perfect for your vacation! When I go on weekend getaways to the beach, I always have a QTee tote with me to pack my towel and snacks, and I think this one is just too cute.
This “Geo Glam” graphic is so funky! I love how bright and colorful you can make it, it’s definitely be a statement piece! I customized this on a snapback hat and on a loose crop top. I think this is perfect for so many different occasions! You can wear it to the beach on a hot summer day, to dance class, or even just to a friend’s house!
How cute is this “Locals Only” graphic! To me, this graphic looks like I’m peeking out behind palm fronds and coming up to a secret location that only the locals know about. I absolutely love this design on the black muscle tee. I think the teal colors I chose really pop on it. I also love the matching “Locals Only” shoe. It’s so simple but so cute! I customized them to match my tank, but they look good in any color!
Do you like Piña Coladas? I do, and I also like this graphic… a lot. I love the vintage-y drink and the way the type was placed around the coconut. I personally customized this on a tote bag and a trucker hat. I love the fact that they match, although they aren’t EXACTLY the same.
We are always updating our graphics so keep a look out for new ones. Also, these graphics are LIMITED EDITION. So once a certain number of them sell, they won’t be printed anymore! And let’s be honest, these will sell out! (they’re too cute not to!) So stop reading this and customize yours now! Can’t wait to see what you come up with!
I would classify myself as a foodie for sure. I absolutely love food and going out on the weekends and finding fun new restaurants and ordering the most interesting looking dish on the menu. My latest obsession has been brunch. There are so many options… and I’m getting hungry just thinking about it! Anyway… what better way to express your love for food than matching your favorite snack/food/treat with custom QTee converse!?!?!
Donut get me started about how much I love these Glaze Craze Converse! I customized them in pink to give them a fun girly touch, but any color would look adorable! When it comes to donut places, DK Donuts in Santa Monica, CA is an office favorite. We all have our favorites, but we’d recommend the grilled cheese cronut (okay, it’s not totally a donut, but it’s gooey and delicious), the blueberry cake donut, the Boston Crème cronut, and the Cookies ‘n’ Cream Oreo bar!
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! I have a MAJOR weakness when it comes from ice cream (which I think stems from working at an ice cream shop for a few years). This weakness caused me to give in and customize a pair of these “Sprinkles on Top” converse. Seriously… how cute?!?! Melty ice cream on my sneakers, I’m pretty much in love. One of my favorite ice cream places is Quenelle in Burbank, CA. They carry very unique homemade flavors and each day they have something new. I still have a lot of flavors to try, but some of my favorites so far have been the strawberry shortcake (which TOTALLY matches my shoes), blueberry pie and the coffee dulce de leche.
You can never go wrong with an order of French fries! These French Fry Converse definitely make a statement… and I wish they smelt as good as they look. You’re probably thinking I couldn’t think of any exciting place for fries… BUT I DO! I told you I was a foodie! The Street Cart Fries from Spitz (there are a few different locations around LA) are to die for! Their fries are topped with garlic aioli, feta, onion, green pepper, tomato, olives (which I ask them to hold for me) and pepperoncinis. SO GOOD!
We’ve been obsessed with pineapples lately! We think this hand drawn Pineapple Paradise graphic is the perfect way to show off our obsession too! I think the peach/pink/orange tones are super cute, but you could make this graphic super colorful and fun too! It works any way! When it comes to pineapples, I love the Dole Pineapple Floats they sell at the Tiki Room at Dinseyland. A pineapple float consists of pineapple juice with pineapple soft serve ice cream and a cocktail umbrella (it’s not as cute without the umbrella). It always was a must-have every time I went to Disneyland, BUT recently a friend told me about a place in West Hollywood, CA that serves Dole Pineapple Floats! (so now I can indulge in the deliciousness even when I’m not at Disneyland!) The place is called Whipp’d LA… and if you love pineapple, you’ll be sure to love it!
We love the ability to customize here at QTee. Not only do we regularly customize our tees and shoes (like these Wanna Pizza Me pair), but we also love places where we can customize our pizza! 800 Degrees pizza let’s you do exactly that and the pizza itself is delicious as well. How awesome is it that you can match your shoes and the tee to your favorite pizza sauces, cheese, and toppings!?!?! At 800 Degrees pizza, there are so many different sauces, cheese and toppings to choose from, the limit is endless.
Well… I don’t know about you but I sure am hungry! If you ever end up matching your QTee shoes (or any other product) to your favorite food/snack/meal/etc. be sure to Instagram it and tag @QTeeShirts and #LoveQTee.
We’ve been spending all our weekends at the beach lately! Beach days call for cute bikinis, healthy snacks, and of course, QTee apparel! I decided to match some of my favorite bikinis to QTee product for the perfect beach look.
My favorite bikini (that I’ve probably been wearing way too much this summer) is the Poppy bikini from Triangl in their Peach Soda color scheme. It’s so bright and colorful, and I love the fact that the material is neoprene. I matched this with my new QTee Beach Babes rep shirt! It’s perfect to throw this cute loose crop top over my bikini and the neon pink color brings out the pink accent on the bottoms as well! Ps- Don’t forget to order your QTee rep shirt ASAP! It’s only available until the end of July!
This Mikoh bikini is so adorable! I absolutely love the crochet detail. I matched the Tuamotu top with the Cayman bottom, and I got them both in the black and white marble print. If you want, you could get one of the solid bottoms and accent it with the printed top as well. This bikini matches PERFECTLY with our Minimalist Marble shoes from our Fashionlush Collection. It’s perfect to throw on these custom converse, a pair of shorts, and show off your bikini top and matching shoes while you walk along the boardwalk.
This Limahai Bandeau bikini from Acacia swimwear is perfect for a day of tanning. The bandeau style top is ideal because you won’t have tan lines from straps, and the bottoms are nice and cheeky for maximum skin exposure. This leopard print matches so well with our Leopard Love snapback hat. Even though you’ll be tanning, the skin on your face is much more sensitive and you may want to protect it mid-way through the day, and what better way then to shade your skin with a hat that matches your bikini!?!?
This bikini is definitely To Die For! (See what I did there?) This Carter Rose Yellow bikini has a white base with a floral pattern and is trimmed with yellow lace. I thought this looked SO cute with our Floral Sibel tote bag. It incorporates a similar floral pattern, and you can customize it to match the yellow tones in the bikini. Plus, it is the perfect size to fit all your beach essentials! Fair warning though, this bikini is very delicate, and the To Die For Swimwear website warns you that it’s not intended for strenuous water activities, so this is better to wear for a day of tanning, rather than a morning of surfing.
There’s no better day to end a long day at the beach than with a bonfire (as long as the beach allows it!) with your best friends. The beach does get cold at night though, so I always make sure to bring a hoodie to keep warm after the sun goes down. I thought the Hawaii, I’m Gone hoodie looked SO cute with this San Lorenzo bikini. It’s from the Bahia collection and is the “Brasilia & White String Bow Back” bikini. I love the abstract floral pattern and I think the bow on the back of the bottom is adorable.
Enjoy the rest of your summer months and be sure to spend as much time as you can at the beach! If you end up matching any of your QTee apparel with your bikinis (or anything else) be sure to Instagram it and #LoveQTee, you may have a chance to get featured on our Instagram!
New Summer Graphics! Just in time for the summer and perfect for any occasion! Check out the latest QTee summer graphics
Our new “Bae Watch” tee is probably my favorite! I think it’s so punny and I absolutely LOVE how it looks on our spandex crop top and boyshorts. I think the crop top is perfect to wear for a beach work out, and the boy shorts are good for a lazy day inside.
We’re so “On Fleek”. Is that the new word? Ok but seriously this graphic is cute and definitely accurate. Throw on this tee after a long day of swimming and tanning, but let’s be real, mostly tanning. So. On. Fleek.
"Suns Out, Buns Out". Time to tan those cheeks. There’s nothing we like better than a cute, cheeky bikini and a warm summer day to tan our buns. Because really, who likes tan lines? I decided to customize this design on our trucker hat and tote bag. I think the trucker hat would look cute as an accessory (keep my noggin’ shaded) and the tote bag is a must for all my summer beach essentials.
We definitely have “Summer Love”. This graphic is so unique! I love the watercolor background and the doodles in all the letters. This trucker hat is perfect for a day at the beach to protect your skin from the harmful rays of the sun and it would look SO cute with a loose crop top on top of your bikini!
“Here Comes the Sun”! This tee is so cute and definitely gets me ready for a tropical vacation! I love how colorful and fun the gradient makes this graphic look. I decided to customize this graphic on a basic short sleeve tee and a tote bag! It would be great for any occasion!
June gloom is finally gone and sunny days are ahead of us! It's the perfect time to catch some rays and head to the beach! Here are some of our favorites beaches we like to spend our days at here in California.
1. Huntington Beach
Huntington Beach is nicknamed "Surf City USA." It's where the US Open of Surfing takes place and is also home of the International Surfing Museum. Huntington isn't just a surfing beach, but it's also one of the few beaches in Southern California where you can have a bonfire at one of their pits! Grab a few friends, bring some hot dogs, and have a good time! Also, if you'd rather eat out, there's a Ruby's at the end of the pier, and plenty of other restaurants on Main Street, right off of the beach.
2. Manhattan Beach
Manhattan Beach is great for a lazy day at the beach. Bring a volleyball, corn hole, or any other beach game and have fun! You can also rent bikes and ride along their bike path. In addition to the beach, there are a lot of different chic boutiques and delicious restaurants for you to enjoy!
3. Crystal Cove State Park, Laguna Beach
Crystal Cove is the perfect beach location for hiking and horseback riding. If you aren't into either of those activities, then there are tidepools and sandy coves for visitors to explore. This beach also has a beautiful world underwater for scuba divers to enjoy.
4. Coronado State Beach, San Diego
This beach is perfect for any occasion, whether it be a girl's weekend trip, or a family vacation. Coronado State Beach has beautiful glistening water, gentle waves, and beautiful views. It's a great beach for swimming, body boarding, boogie boarding or just hanging out!
5. Venice Beach
There isn't another beach quite like Venice! The Venice Beach Boardwalk is world famous and is a major visitor attraction because it's so unique. There are always street vendors, performers and artists along the walk. You can see anything from break dancing, to a magic show, and even broken glass walking. You can go to a fortuneteller or get a temporary henna tattoo. There is always something new to see at Venice Beach!
Don't forget to get your custom QTee apparel for your beach days!

It’s America’s Birthday… and everyone is invited to the party! You can celebrate the day any way you’d like, but be sure to spend it with good company. Enjoy a good ol’ fashioned BBQ and fireworks to end the night. You can enjoy American’s birthday anywhere, but we’ve gathered a list of some cities with the BEST 4th of July celebrations!
1. Boston, MA
Boston doesn’t just celebrate on the 4th of July, they celebrate all weekend long! They have hundreds of events that make up the Boston Harborfest. This festival focuses on its colonial heritage, but is also a lot of fun. There are cruises, concerts, tours, reenactments, fireworks and more!
2. Chicago, IL
Chicago’s Navy Pier is a great place to spend Independence Day! The pier is the perfect place to watch Chicago’s Firework show. The view overlooks Lake Michigan, and it’s quite a sight! Be sure to get there early though! Once it reaches capacity, they’ll close the gates!
3. San Diego, CA
What better place to enjoy BBQs, bonfires, and beer than at the beach! San Diego will be packed with beach bum’s all day long! Bring some beach games, like KanJam or cornhole, to have a fun filled day. The firework show is huge too, so you don’t want to miss it!
4. Philadelphia, PA
The home of the nation’s birth HAS to have a great 4th of July celebration, right?!? Philadelphia celebrates America’s birthday all week long! If you go, be sure to visit historic landmarks like the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. After that, just enjoy the music and fun. There are free concerts, a parade, and of course, fireworks.
5. Washington, D.C.
The nation’s capital is a great place to spend the 4th! There is a huge National Independence Day parade that takes place and you can expect lavish floats, live entertainment, military groups, and much more. There is a free concert at the Capitol Building followed by the nation’s largest fireworks display.
No matter where you spend it, we wish you a fun and safe 4th of July.

1. What's your name?
2. What do you love to do in your spare time?
I love going on adventures, whether it's far from home or down the road. That's the problem when you're a travel bug. You constantly have the urge to fill your life with experiences, not things. And to have stories to tell, not stuff to show. So when I'm out traveling or on an adventure I'm already busy planning my next one.
3. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I've been fortunate enough to be able to cross off so many places from my bucket list already and yet there's still so much more to explore! It's a never ending list that just keeps growing. There's so many places out there that I don't even know about yet. I discover them as I browse across magazines, social media, friends and family and they just win my heart! So my list is constantly changing. But my top places I want to travel to next is Greece, Bali, and Europe. I'm already planning those trips out haha
4. What's a motto or quote you live by?
"I hope the days come easy and the moments pass slow and each road leads you to where you want to go"
5. What can't you leave your house without?
I can't leave my house without my favorite travel buddy, photographer/videographer, and soul mate all wrapped into one amazing man; Evan Zubrod. From up in the sky to under the sea, he's the man behind the lens capturing all those amazing moments and constantly inspiring me to create new ones so that I can share it with all of you! I'm always impressed at everything he does and the final products he creates. He's the epitome of "do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life." It's so great seeing the world through another perspective. His love for capturing the world is contagious. It makes me appreciate all of life's beauty that I never noticed before. Sure, a wave is cool to look at from shore. But when you see it from his perspective inside a barrel it's just magnificent. The shots he gets make me feel the intensity of the wave as if I'm right there with him. I look at all his photos and every movement, noise, and color just come to life! Now, I'm just so fascinated by it all. I guess it's true... "When someone else's happiness becomes your happiness, that is love!" And that's exactly why I can't leave home without him. Because it's not about what you have or where you go, it's about who you have beside you!
His job takes him all around the world shooting for television shows, resorts, surf, weddings, numerous companies, etc. He even has his photos on bank credit cards and murals see if you can spot them out on your travels! For more of our travels follow him:
6. What's your favorite part about summer?
The crystal clear waters here in Hawaii! I love free diving. The ocean is my playground. So when the conditions are pristine (like it is during the Hawaii summers) I can't help but get excited!
7. Tell us about your recent shoot you did for QTee? What inspired the shoot?
Sea glazed eyes peeking at a shoreline of perfect palm trees, silky white sand, and endless shades of blue waters. Traveling to our own rhythm. Adventure is the beat. Tahiti was our canvas. QTee's travel collection embodied our lifestyle and just instantly stood out to me. It was the perfect complement to the already picturesque Tahiti.
8. What's your favorite part about QTee?
I love that you can customize everything! I'm such a critic when it comes to clothes. There's always something little about them that I just want to change. Sometimes that colors just aren't the right shades for me or I think it would look way better as a tank top. But with QTee I can customize it to my liking. It allows me to unleash my creative side. It's seriously so much fun!
9. Favorite food?
NUTELLA & ICE CREAM! :) That counts as food, right?
10. Where do you get your style inspiration from?
I get my style inspiration from all the places I travel to and the people I meet. Everyone has such unique styles that I love. I like incorporating their styles into my every day life.
